British Racing School
Overview
The British Racing School (BRS) has an impressive range of facilities, which includes two gallops, schooling facilities, starting stalls, an indoor arena and an outdoor arena. Students doing residential courses also have access to an onsite gym and the canteen provides a healthy selection of food for students.
There are a variety of courses and training opportunities on offer from Racehorse Care Apprenticeships to Licensed Jockey Courses and Racehorse Trainers Modules.
For those who don’t wish to ride but wish to work at a Trainer’s yard, the BRS offers secretary/admin courses as well as yard based courses. Other courses offered include Management Training and The Racing Industry Course, designed to further participants knowledge of the racing industry and work of key racing bodies.
