The role of Stud Manager is the person who has overall responsibility for the running of a Stud Farm. From managing staff to promoting stallions and providing care for mares in foal, whilst giving birth and for foals and yearlings.

How to get into this role
To get into this role you would need to progress from Stud Groom to Stud Management. Taking on a management role can be a demanding job. Not only will the position require you to communicate up and down the management team, motivate and lead the team and delegate, you’ll also be responsible for internal team relationships and the overall promotion of the stud.
